LamisilAT Cream is a powerful antifungal medicine containing terbinafine that treats the fungus that causes athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm.

LamisilAT cream is used to treat infections of the skin including the following infections:

LamisilAT cream can be used in adults and in children (2 year old and under) starting in the form of a suppository.

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you can use a 2g tube.
• If you are breastfeeding, or if you become pregnant or think you are about to have a surgery.
• If you experience skin rashes, itching or burning under your skin or if your skin gets any irritation.
• If your doctor has told you to stop taking the medicine, check with your doctor as soon as possible.
• If you experience skin rashes, skin peeling or a itching reaction, redness or swelling, itching or burning, you may be advised to talk to your doctor.

Some of the side effects of Lamisil AT 1% Cream include nausea (including after usual meals), diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache and skin reactions (such as itching or burning). For other side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine, if you have the following symptoms in children and children under 2 years old:

• jaundice (change in colour of urine)
• headache
• skin rash (or blistering)
• tightness in the chest, neck or stomach
• vulgar feeling

This medicine is for external use only. Do not use if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant. Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to have a surgery.

• plan to use Lamisil AT 1% Cream as soon as you notice any changes in your skin rash (such as peeling).

Do not use Lamisil AT 1% Cream for more than 2 weeks unless directed by your doctor

• Lamisil AT 1% Cream should be applied as soon as you can, but should be applied at least 4 weeks after any surgery.
• If your skin becomes red, swollen or peeling after 3 days of Lamisil AT 1% Cream, tell your doctor
• Do not apply Lamisil AT 1% Cream to hair or skin products, or any other condition that may cause hair loss (such as blockage of blood vessels).
• Keep out of reach of children.

Take the medicine regularly, 1 or 2 times a day, with or as directed by your doctor

• Apply the cream once a day only.
• Follow the speed at which you should apply the cream.
• If the cream looks too large orossier, start to feel the itching or burning.
• If you feel shaky or anxious, especially during the first few weeks of treatment, wait for at least 4 weeks before using.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including non-prescription medicines, vitamins, natural supplements or herbal products.

About Lamisil Cream

Uses of Lamisil Cream

• Apply Lamisil Cream daily to treat itching and skin irritation of athlete's foot and jock itch (tinea cruris).
• Wash and dry the affected skin and remove any loose pieces from the skin, then apply Lamisil Cream over the affected skin for 7 days.
• If itching persists after 3 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not apply Lamisil Cream on irritated eyes and mouth (tinea pedis).
• Use in skin conditions such as eczema (sores on the skin) and rosacea (fluid retention), as prescribed by your doctor.
• Lamisil Cream can be used for external use only. Follow your doctor's advice on the use of Lamisil Cream.

Description

Lamisil Once is a single dose treatment for athlete's foot (tinea pedis). For tinea pedis, the active ingredient is terbinafine hydrochloride, which penetrates the skin and fights bacteria. Lamisil once daily works by killing the fungi that cause tinea pedis, allowing the skin to heal. The active ingredient in Lamisil is terbinafine hydrochloride, which is available in cream, film coated tablet, or oral tablet form.

Directions

Directions:Wash and dry feet of athletes foot (tinea pedis) 2 to 3 times a day. Lamisil once daily is to treat tinea pedis, killing the fungi which cause tinea pedis and once daily the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride is applied to the skin 2.5 times per day for 5 days.

Adults and children 12 years and over:A standard dose is one spray once daily for 5 days. For most tinea pedis, this will normally take between 5 and 10 days. For athlete's foot, a single spray once daily for 5 days will be enough to treat most forms of tinea pedis. Lamisil once daily is to work by reducing the amount of fungi in the skin which are causing the tinea, and once daily applications should be made.

WARNING:Do not apply Lamisil Once to any infected area including skin, mucous membranes, or eyes. Do not cover the affected skin with a skin-friendly bandage or other safety bandage until a single spray is sufficient. It is recommended to apply a single spray at least 2 hours after the other product is applied.

Side Effects:Nausea, dizziness, dark-colored tinea infection, cracking, and scaling may occur. If this occurs, or if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Warning/Side effects

Terbinafine Hydrochloride is a medicine. It is known as a fungicides, insecticides, and a few other products, including insect repellants. The most commonly reported side effects are severe burning or stinging, with a metallic taste. If these occur, or if the skin gets red, become blistered, irritated or irritation.
